From its manufacturing plant in Treviso, Italy, the Linea Light Group creates energy-efficient lighting solutions for eminent clients across the globe, from the Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC, to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Ragusa, Italy. However, when considering how to update its online platform, the light fixture designer and manufacturer realized it needed a new design strategy. As part of a comprehensive brand refresh, global digital agency AQuest created a business-to-business-oriented site that showcases Linea Light Group’s offerings on a clean, linear and grid-oriented design. 

Since Linea Light Group’s catalog is geared toward a technical audience—with each product’s page linking to photo galleries that dive into specifications—AQuest opted to use a simple layout with geometric shapes and animated transitions to facilitate navigation. Product pages link to case studies, showing visitors how Linea Light Group’s products look when they’re installed. Available on the desktop and mobile versions of the site, a filterable search engine lets users discover the products they need; for visitors who dive into Linea Light Group’s offerings without filters, an intelligent heuristic search delivers content sourced live from the database. AQuest also implemented a scalable structure that enables the light fixture manufacturer to update pages as new products and case studies are released.
