"Writer and filmmaker Perry Janes needed a presence for his latest project, ‘Zug,’ at national film festivals. He had a good budget, but wanted a ton of posters. Our suggestion to reduce the number of posters and add buttons and handbills resulted in a more diversified promotion. The design concept explores why the mysterious Zug Island—home to abandoned industrial complexes and steel mills in Detroit—gets into the heads of the film's young main characters, Donovan and Lee. In the end, the pair sneaks onto Zug Island, where they debunk urban legends while discovering the truth about themselves."
