"My PAGAN artwork series was inspired by my trip to Stonehenge in 2012. I became fascinated with pagan culture and Old English texts from the fifth to the twelfth centuries. This project combines the idea of pagan tree worship with the fact that they wrote very little down, and throws the two together using a decorative technique—pyrography, or wood burning—found around that same period."
