"Explosions in the Sky is a Texas, instrumental, post-rock band that's become well known for their powerful live performances. Their sound is both aggressive and beautiful. The challenge for us with this poster was, of course, to somehow visually emulate that sound. It's actually a fairly simple visual recipe: guts, brains and synapses bursting into flowers."
