The 2009 Human Rights Watch Annual Report functions as the key communications tool to help donors and prospective donors understand and internalize the organization's mission around advancing human rights. Communicating emotionally charged content is difficult when its impact is felt over long periods of time and the subject matter is complex and politically driven.
