Julie Dasher Rugs, a custom rug boutique that designs and imports handmade rugs from Nepal, asked me to rebrand the company beginning with a new logo. Loops of wool joined with a tufting needle form the shape of a flying moth—representing the silk used in the rugs, as well as freedom—reflecting Julie's commitment to end child labor in the rug-making industry by donating to the Goodweave Foundation. These textural cards feature graphic interpretations of Julie's various rug designs. 140# French Muscletone is letterpressed and duplexed (by Studio on Fire), to add dimension and convey the sculptural, tactile nature of the rugs.
