After more than 75 years on the market, Spam has reemerged as a popular ingredient in US cuisine. Foodies, for one, have done inventive things with Spam. To promote their creativity, BBDO MPLS created the SPAMerican tour, traveling in a food truck across the contiguous United States in a three-month period. Each of the thirteen stops in major US cities featured a different local chef and a custom-made poster designed by a local artist. The posters, printed by promotion company Artcrank and distributed to attendees at each event, capture the inventive spirit of each city.
