An aggressive critique on the present global-political climate, American Spring is Anti-Flag’s tenth album, available on Spinefarm Records. For the album’s packaging, designer Doug Dean created artwork that challenges the collective view of violence and peace. Archetypes of current issues, such as women wearing hijabs, policemen and soldiers, appear throughout the packaging; exploding flowers obscure their faces, representing a time for renewal and revolution.
