Better Homes, a realty company in Dubai, approached Moloobhoy & Brown to create a one-dimensional map of the city as part of an ongoing brand refresh. For an unexpected angle on the project, Moloobhoy & Brown explored the extreme clichés of Dubai and used them to help showcase the distinct personalities and characteristics of the city’s various districts.

New York-based illustrator Josh Cochran brought the project to life with whimsical drawings of Dubai’s vibrant downtown and Marina districts, the older Deira neighborhood around Dubai Creek and all the city’s attractions—fantasy hotels, villas, a racecourse, a ski slope, bustling sidewalks, skyscrapers and, most importantly, the people that make Dubai buzz. The map, like the city itself, has something for everyone to discover.
